Coldplay just came up with a cool concept to promote their upcoming album Ghost Stories. The idea? A scavenger hunt, and whoever finds these handwritten notes will be rewarded with a flight to go see Coldplay live in London on July 1st. The lead singer of the band, Chris Martin, announced the beginning of the scavenger hunt via Twitter. The band hid their musical notes in nine different countries, and the first note was found by teenager Ernesto in Mexico.
The notes were found in an envelope that read “Open me” inside of a Charles Dickens book at the Vasconcelos Library in Mexico D.F.
